Nature reflects the creative work of living God. Plants are the integral part of nature. They are designed with specific purpose. The physical beauty and its chemistry are of immense importance to human kind. There is a wonderful science in nature, in trees, herbs, roots and flowers which man has never discovered fully. Loyola College wants to bring about a basic attitudinal change towards nature through the teaching of Botany, which brings us closer to nature. Botany is important for agriculture, horticulture, and forestry, Ethno botany and for plant breeding, which offers hope of expanding knowledge. Under the able guidance of the teachers, the students make efforts to create an eco-friendly atmosphere in and a round the campus.
