Rules For Library
- Strict silence shall be observed in the library.
- Uses of mobile phones are not permitted inside the library.
- Students should satisfy themselves with physical condition of the book before borrowing.
- Students are not allowed to bring their personal books or any printed material inside the library.
- The belongings like bags, umbrellas are to be kept on the rack at the entrance of the library.
- Students are advised not to leave their precious and valuable items like money, ATM card and mobile on the rack outside the library as there is no provision for property counter.
- Students should not write in, mark, scratch, disfigure and damage books or furniture of the library.
- The library will be kept open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days.
- The students shall obtain two Library Cards from the College Office. Library Cards should be submitted to borrow the books. In case the library card is lost it could be reissued on payment of Rs.50/- per card.
- If library books are not returned on the prescribed time a fine of Rs.10/- will be charged on each book per day. If any student is found tearing the pages of library books, causing any damage to the books will be fined Rs.100/- along with the cost of the book.
- If the library book is lost by the student he/she has to pay the double cost of the book.
- Books are normally issued for a week.
- Those books which have single/double copies shall not be issued.
- Books are not reserved. It will, however depend on the discretion of the librarian.
- Reference books, magazines and journals are not issued at all
